Leti Garza, an enchanting bi-lingual singer-songwriter based in Austin, Texas, weaves a captivating tapestry of sound and emotion with her unique blend of Latin, folk, and global music. Born and raised in the Lone Star State, Leti's music is deeply rooted in her multicultural heritage, seamlessly fusing traditional and contemporary elements to create an irresistible sonic experience.
Influenced by legends such as Celia Cruz, Eva Garza, and Mercedes Sosa, Leti's powerful voice and evocative lyrics tell stories of love, loss, and the human experience. She began her musical journey at a young age, performing in local events at Houston’s High School for the Performing & Visual Arts and later attending the University of Texas at Austin, where she studied dance and theater, as well as performed with the nationally acclaimed American Deaf Dance and Sharir Dance Company.
With a career spanning over two decades, Leti has released multiple critically acclaimed albums and has garnered a loyal following of fans who eagerly anticipate each new release. She is an Austin local favorite, both with her band, Leti Garza y La Banda, and solo. Her magnetic stage presence and heartfelt performances have also led her to collaborate with Grammy award winning artists and perform in prestigious venues and festivals across the United States, England, Europe and Cuba.
