Jose Conde creates an entirely new perspective of the holiday classic. Previously recorded as light swing by Bing Crosby, Tony Bennet, Ella Fitzgerald, Conde’s new version is an uptempo Brazilian samba that begins with an original intro about a tropical musician dreaming of a winter wonderland and segues into a lithe wall of Brazilian percussion and Brazilian chorro guitars around Conde’s smooth vocal.
Recorded, produced and mixed by Jose Conde the release drops as a 3 song EP with separate tracks for 1. original intro, the cover , 2. the holiday classic, and 3.the full radio version with intro and cover joined by segue. A series of original art NFT’s titled Samba Snowflakes is set to launch around Xmas around this single release.
This will be Jose Conde’s first NFT drop. Jose Conde is a Global eclectic pop artist dabbling in multi media. He has recorded two solo albums under his name including his most recent release SOULS ALIVE in the 305. He is also the lead singer, founder, writer and arranger of Cuban roots band OLA FRESCA for which he has created 3 all original albums.
